If I fly from Tokyo to Chicago non-stop, will I arrive the same date I left?
Flightsby grace alone asked:
My flight schedule says that I’m leaving Tokyo, Japan at 4:40 pm on May 14 and arriving in Chicago at 2:19 pm..it doesn’t clarify the date and I just want to double check. I’ll be arriving in Chicago on May 14 still, right? Or would it be the next day?

That is correct. I took a flight similar flight from Japan last year. If it is the next day it will say on your ticket or itinerary.

Not only will you arrive on the same day, but you’ll arrive earlier than you left. That’s what happens when you cross the International Dateline on most flights from Asia to the US. Pretty cool, huh?
